sweat trickles down my face as i climb the never-ending stair case.  Furiously I wipe the sweat from my brow, looking up to the place I was headed to, a shining door, full of light and hope, I had only to reach it.....If only I could reach it....  Hands hold my wrists and try to drag me back down, holes and breaks in the steps make me stumble, and many times I want to give up.  To lay where I am and go to sleep, have someone sing me a lullaby.  But I force myself on, towards that never wavering door of light, a door of hope and happiness.
